Illinois High School Volleyball - Frankfort Benton

The Benton Rangers topped the host Frankfort Redbirds volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Rangers now have a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Herrin for a Southern Illinois River-to-River Ohio test on Thursday, October 6. Benton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 8-11.

The Redbirds (11-13) will now prepare for their test against Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL). The Red Devils enter the Southern Illinois River-to-River Ohio test with a 17-8 record. In their last test, Murphysboro gained a win over Herrin (Herrin, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
