In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Broadway Gobblers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks.

The Gobblers (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Wildcats come into the Valley battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Rockbridge County nudged Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Blue Streaks clash with the Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 5. Harrisonburg will attempt to advance on its 1-10 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA).
