The Palatine Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Conant Cougars to 1 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.

The Pirates now possess a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schaumburg for a Mid-Suburban game on Thursday, October 6. Palatine will meet a Saxons team coming off a 2-0 league win over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Saxons record now stands at 8-12.

The Cougars (13-12) will now prepare for their game against Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Fillies/Broncos enter the Mid-Suburban game with a 20-1 record. In their last game, Barrington nipped Fremd (Palatine, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
