California High School Volleyball - Dr. Maya Angelou Community edged by Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Romans held off the host Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.
The Romans now have a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manual Arts for a Exposition test on Thursday, October 6. Los Angeles will confront a Toilers team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Adams (Los Angeles, CA). The Toilers record now stands at 5-5.
The Phoenix (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Diego Rivera (Los Angeles, CA). The Huskies enter the Exposition test with a 2-15 record. In their last test, Diego Rivera was nudged by Santee (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
