The Rams now have a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Airy for a Northwest 1A test on Wednesday, October 5. Starmount will confront a Granite Bears team coming off a 3-0 league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 11-6.

The Buckin' Elks (6-12) will now prepare for their test against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, North Surry gained a win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC), 3-1, in a league test.
