Texas High School Volleyball - Independence over Heritage

October 4, 2022: Frisco, TX 75035

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Independence Knights (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX), saw Independence's volleyball squad beat Heritage by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 26-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Memorial (Frisco, TX) to play the Warriors in a 5A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, October 7. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 20-11. Memorial won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Centennial (Frisco, TX)

The Coyotes now own a 12-20 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a 5A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, October 7. Heritage will play a Redhawks squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Redhawks record now stands at 20-12.
