The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) and the visiting Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV), saw Jefferson's volleyball squad beat Martinsburg by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 2-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Musselman (Inwood, WV) to play the Applemen in a Eastern Panhandle bout on Thursday, October 6. The Applemen go into the bout with a record of 21-6. Musselman won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Washington (Charles Town, WV)

The Bulldogs now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Spring Mills for a Eastern Panhandle bout on Thursday, October 6. Martinsburg will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-8.
