The Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) volleyball overcame the visiting Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Kankakee upgrades its record to 14-7 on the year. The Kays host Grant Park (Grant Park, IL) to face the Dragons in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 5. The Dragons go into the outing with a record of 17-8. Grant Park won 2-0 in their recent league outing against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL)
The Falcons now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Crete-Monee for a Southland outing on Thursday, October 6. Thornridge will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 10-10.
