In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Winston County Yellowjackets (Double Springs, AL) volleyball squad were winner over the host Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 6. Winston County will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 4-10 record after their 3-1 league win over Red Bay (Red Bay, AL).

With the loss, Lamar County moves to 21-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to New Hope (Columbus, MS) to face the Trojans in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 6. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 8-7.
