The Putnam County War Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Laney Wildcats to 0 in the War Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The War Eagles now possess a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Shoals for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 4. Putnam County will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-27.

The Wildcats (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Westside (Augusta, GA). The Patriots enter the 2A Area 4 game with a 5-18 record. In their last game, Westside was dropped by Davidson Fine Arts (Augusta, GA), 2-0, in a league game.
