The Lunenburg Central Chargers topped the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Chargers now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nottoway for a James River test on Thursday, October 6. Lunenburg Central will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-1.

The Statesmen (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Raiders enter the James River test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Amelia County gained a win over Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
