North Carolina High School Volleyball - West Stanly can't hold off Mount Pleasant

October 4, 2022: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Mount Pleasant Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the West Stanly Colts.

The Tigers (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets come into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, North Stanly nudged Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Colts clash with the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A battle, on Thursday, October 6. West Stanly will attempt to advance on its 15-6 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the battle with a 7-12 record after their 3-1 league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).
