The Pirates (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Pettus (Pettus, TX). The War Eagles come into the 1A Region IV District 29 battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, Pettus achieved victory over Austwell-Tivoli (Tivoli, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Austwell-Tivoli Redfish (Tivoli, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 29 battle, on Friday, October 7. Runge will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Redfish come into the battle with a 8-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pettus (Pettus, TX).
