The Pirates (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Quanah (Quanah, TX). The Indians enter the 2A Region I District 7 challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Quanah defeated Olney (Olney, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cubs encounter the Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Olney will attempt to move on its 9-15 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Windthorst (Windthorst, TX).
