In Tuesday's league contest, the Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA) volleyball squad edged the host St. Genevieve Valiants (Panorama City, CA), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Spirits battle the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a Camino Real contest, on Thursday, October 6. Paraclete will attempt to better on its 18-7 season record. The Swordsmen come into the contest with a 0-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA).

With the loss, St. Genevieve drops to 5-13 on the campaign. The Valiants host Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA) to battle the Lancers in a Camino Real contest on Wednesday, October 5. The Lancers come into the contest with a record of 18-7. Bishop Amat won 3-0 in their recent league contest against St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA)
