In Tuesday's league battle, the host Piner Prospectors volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs.

The Prospectors (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA). The Greyhounds go into the non-league outing with a 12-8 record. In their last outing, Healdsburg notched a victory over Elsie Allen (Santa Rosa, CA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Bentley for a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 5. St. Vincent de Paul will face a Phoenix squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to International (San Francisco, CA). The Phoenix record now stands at 8-7.
