The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) and the visiting Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX), saw Ponder's volleyball squad beat Whitesboro by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Ponder upgrades its record to 23-14 on the year. The Lions travel to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Saturday, October 8. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 23-10.

The Bearcats now own a 10-15 record. They play next when they travel to Boyd for a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, October 7. Whitesboro will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 27-8.
