The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) and the visiting Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA), saw Riverheads's volleyball squad beat Stuarts Draft by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Riverheads upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Gladiators host Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA) to play the Green Hornets in a Shenandoah bout on Thursday, October 6. The Green Hornets go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Wilson Memorial won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Alleghany (Covington, VA)

The Cougars now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Staunton for a Shenandoah bout on Thursday, October 6. Stuarts Draft will play a Storm squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Storm record now stands at 3-11.
