California High School Volleyball - St. Ignatius can't hold off Valley Christian

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Valley Christian Warriors volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the St. Ignatius Wildcats.
The Warriors (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs come into the West Catholic battle with a 19-5 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Mitty was edged by Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) in a West Catholic battle, on Friday, October 7. St. Ignatius will attempt to advance on its 11-11 season record. The Fightin' Irish come into the battle with a 11-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Presentation (San Jose, CA).
