The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Saranac Chiefs (Saranac, NY) and the visiting AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY), saw Saranac's soccer squad beat AuSable Valley by a margin of 5-1.

The Chiefs now sport a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Genesee for a non-league test on Friday, October 6. Saranac will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, AuSable Valley drops to 2-5 on the season. The Patriots host Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY) to meet the Cougars in a Northern test on Friday, October 6. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 5-3. Northeastern Clinton lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY)
