North Carolina High School Volleyball - Alexander Central can't hold off Watauga

In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Watauga Pioneers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Alexander Central Cougars.
The Pioneers (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 12-5 record.
Next, the Cougars encounter the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a battle, on Monday, October 9. Alexander Central will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record.
