With the win, Alleghany upgrades its record to 16-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Patrick County (Stuart, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Patrick County won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Floyd County (Floyd, VA)

The Bobcats now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they host Roanoke Catholic for a non-league bout on Monday, October 9.
