The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos to 1 in the Green Hornets non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Green Hornets now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverheads for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Wilson Memorial will meet a Gladiators team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Gladiators record now stands at 6-7.

The Flying Flucos (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights enter the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Charlottesville was nudged by Orange County (Orange, VA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
