The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) and the host East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC), saw Brevard's soccer squad triumph over East Rutherford by a count of 5-0.

The Blue Devils now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they host R-S Central for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A test on Monday, October 9. Brevard will meet a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, East Rutherford drops to 2-9 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Chase (Forest City, NC) to meet the Trojans in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A test on Monday, October 9. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-12. Chase lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Erwin (Asheville, NC)
