In Wednesday's league battle, the host Rosewood Eagles soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Hobbton Wildcats.
The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Spartans come into the Carolina 1A battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Union was nudged by Midway (Dunn, NC), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
