North Carolina High School Soccer - Starmount knocks off North Stokes

The Starmount Rams soccer team scored 4 points and limited the host North Stokes Vikings to 1 in the Rams league victory on Wednesday.

Next, the Rams face the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a Northwest 1A contest, on Monday, October 9. Starmount will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Granite Bears enter the contest with a 12-0 record after their 0-0 non-league Forbush (East Bend, NC).

The Vikings now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elkin for a Northwest 1A contest on Thursday, October 5. North Stokes will face a Buckin' Elks team coming off a 9-0 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Buckin' Elks record now stands at 10-2.
