Georgia High School Softball - Lamar County bounces Taylor County

The Lamar County Trojans routed the host Taylor County Vikings softball squad by a final score of 8-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Trojans (18-6) will now prepare for their battle against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Terrors go into the non-league battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Glynn Academy nudged Brunswick (Brunswick, GA), 8-0, in a league battle.

The Vikings now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they host Schley County for a 1A D-II Region 6 battle on Thursday, October 5. Taylor County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-6.
