In Wednesday's league contest, the North Cobb Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) softball team overwhelmed the host Therrell Panthers (Atlanta, GA), by a margin of 17-0.
With the triumph, North Cobb Christian moves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Eagles host Walker (Marietta, GA) to play the Wolverines in a 2A Region 6 contest on Thursday, October 5. The Wolverines come into the contest with a record of 10-6. Walker won 14-2 in their recent league contest against Drew Charter (Atlanta, GA)
In their next game, the Panthers play the KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors (Atlanta, GA) in a 2A Region 6 contest, on Thursday, October 5. Therrell will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 1-14 record after their 28-13 league loss to Coretta Scott King YWLA (Atlanta, GA).
