The Roswell Hornets softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting North Springs Spartans to 0 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Roswell moves its record to 9-12 on the year. The Hornets host Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to clash with the Trojans in a 6A Region 7 game on Thursday, October 5. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 21-1. Lassiter won 15-0 in their recent league game against Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Riverwood Raiders (Sandy Springs, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 12. North Springs will attempt to move on its 8-15 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 11-16 record after their 3-2 league loss to St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA).
