The Calera Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Benjamin Russell Wildcats to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.

The Eagles now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chilton County for a 6A Area 5 game on Thursday, October 5. Calera will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 13-9.

The Wildcats (3-15) will now prepare for their game against Beauregard (Opelika, AL). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 22-6 record. In their last game, Beauregard defeated Tallassee (Tallassee, AL), 3-0, in a league game.
