The West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) volleyball topped the host Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), 2-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Knights now have a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barringer for a non-league test on Friday, October 6. West Essex will confront a Blue Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ). The Blue Bears record now stands at 8-6.

The Bengals (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Payne Tech (Newark, NJ). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Payne Tech was knocked off by Columbia (Maplewood, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
