The Toms River East Raiders topped the host Central Regional Golden Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's league test.
The Raiders now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brick Township for a Shore A - South test on Thursday, October 5. Toms River East will confront a Green Dragons team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Toms River South (Toms River, NJ). The Green Dragons record now stands at 3-9.
The Golden Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ). The Jaguars enter the Shore A - South test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Jackson Memorial was knocked off by Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ), 2-0, in a league test.
