The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) volleyball were winner over the host Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC), 3-0 in Wednesday's league outing.

With the win, Cornerstone Charter betters its record to 20-0 on the year. The Cardinals host College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC) to face the Royals in a Northwest Piedmont 1A outing on Tuesday, October 10. The Royals go into the outing with a record of 8-10. College Prep & Leadership Academy won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Lions now sport a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bethany for a Northwest Piedmont 1A outing on Tuesday, October 10.
