California High School Volleyball - Merced crushed by El Capitan

The El Capitan Gauchos topped the host Merced Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Gauchos now have a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Osos for a non-league test on Friday, October 6. El Capitan will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-19.

The Bears (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Falcons enter the Central California Conference test with a 17-8 record. In their last test, Atwater gained a win over Patterson (Patterson, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
