The Wilbur Cross Governors topped the host Hillhouse Academics volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Governors now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Haven for a non-league test on Friday, October 6. Wilbur Cross will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Career Magnet (New Haven, CT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-13.
The Academics (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Career Magnet (New Haven, CT). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Career Magnet gained a win over East Haven (East Haven, CT), 3-1, in a league test.
