The West Greene Pioneers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Hundred Hornets to 0 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Pioneers now have a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Geibel Catholic for a WPIAL 1A 2 game on Thursday, October 5. West Greene will meet a Gators team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA). The Gators record now stands at 0-7.

The Hornets (0-11) will now prepare for their game against Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV). The Cee Bees enter the Mason-Dixon game with a 12-6 record. In their last game, Clay-Battelle gained a win over Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV), 2-1, in a league game.
