The Martin County volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Southside Seahawks to 1 in the non-league victory on Wednesday.
The now have a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North East Carolina Prep for a Four Rivers 1A game on Thursday, October 5. Martin County will meet a team coming off a 3-0 league win over Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The record now stands at 4-4.
The Seahawks (2-13) will now prepare for their game against Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC). The Devil Pups enter the Coastal Plains 1A/2A game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Lejeune dropped by Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
