The Morris Jeff Community Pelicans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting St. Katharine Drexel Yellowjackets to 0 in the Pelicans non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Pelicans now have a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eleanor McMain for a Division III District 9 game on Thursday, October 5. Morris Jeff Community will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-12.

The Yellowjackets (1-8) will now prepare for their game against St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA). The Saints enter the Division V District 8 game with a 4-16 record. In their last game, St. Martin's Episcopal dropped by Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
