The Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Valor Academy to 0 in the Pioneers league victory on Wednesday.

The Pioneers now have a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Magnolia Science Academy Van Nuys for a Central Valley game on Friday, October 6. Sun Valley Magnet will confront a Mustang team coming off a 3-0 league win over Discovery (Sylmar, CA). The Mustang record now stands at 5-4.

The (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Discovery (Sylmar, CA). The Warriors enter the Central Valley game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Discovery dropped by Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
