The Weequahic Indians topped the visiting West Side Roughriders volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Indians now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Vincent Academy for a non-league test on Friday, October 6. Weequahic will confront a team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over American History (Newark, NJ). The record now stands at 3-7.

The Roughriders (2-8) will now prepare for their test against University (Newark, NJ). The Phoenix enter the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, University was knocked off by Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ), 2-0, in a league test.
