The Byron Bears walloped the host Kasson-Mantorville Komets football team by a score of 42-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears face the Faribault/Shattuck-St. Mary's (Faribault, MN) in a Skyway - Platinum challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Byron will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 24-23 league win over Winona (Winona, MN).
The Komets (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Breck (Minneapolis, MN). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Breck bounced Spectrum (Elk River, MN), 21-8, in a non-league challenge.
