The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Columbia Academy Cougars (Columbia, MS) and the host Clinton Christian Academy Warriors (Clinton, MS), witnessed Columbia Academy's football squad wallop Clinton Christian Academy by a tally of 40-0.

The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Aloysius (Vicksburg, MS). The Flashes enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, St. Aloysius was trounced by Riverfield Academy (Rayville, LA), 41-5, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Warriors battle the Tri-County Academy Rebels (Flora, MS) in a MAIS 4A District 2 contest, on Friday, October 11. Clinton Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 7-0 record after their 35-0 non-league win over Washington (Greenville, MS).
