Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), 48-7 in a league battle.
With the win, Roswell advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Artesia (Artesia, NM) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A District 2 battle on Friday, October 18. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Artesia won 57-0 in their recent league battle against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM)
The Panthers now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Lovington for a 5A District 2 battle on Friday, October 18. Gadsden will play a Wildcats team coming off a 50-49 league loss to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.
