Utah High School Football - Skyridge nudges Lone Peak

In Friday's league match, the visiting Skyridge Falcons football squad scored a close 21-16 victory over the Lone Peak Knights.

The Falcons (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT). The Vikings enter the 6A Region 3 match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Pleasant Grove was nudged by American Fork (American Fork, UT), 30-8, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT) in a 6A Region 3 match, on Thursday, October 10. Lone Peak will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 48-7 league win over Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT).
