Ohio High School Football - McDonald tops Lowellville

October 4, 2024: McDonald, OH 44437

The McDonald Blue Devils football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Lowellville Rockets to 14 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Memorial for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet test on Friday, October 11. McDonald will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 40-8 league loss to Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Lowellville drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH) to meet the Bluejays in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet test on Friday, October 11. The Bluejays come into the test with a record of 2-5. Jackson-Milton lost 30-28 in their recent league test against Waterloo (Atwater, OH)
