Virginia High School Football - Northampton tops Middlesex

The Northampton Yellowjackets football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Middlesex Chargers to 18 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host John Marshall for a non-league test on Friday, October 18.

With the defeat, Middlesex drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Chargers host West Point (West Point, VA) to meet the Pointers in a Tidewater test on Friday, October 11. The Pointers come into the test with a record of 1-4. West Point won 21-0 in their recent non-league test against Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA)
