The Panther Creek Panthers edged the host Paris Wildcats football team by a score of 38-35 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Community Braves (Nevada, TX) in a 4A-1 Region II District 7 challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Panther Creek will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 56-20 league loss to Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX).
The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Aubrey (Aubrey, TX). The Chaparrals enter the 4A-1 Region II District 7 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Aubrey was edged by Celina (Celina, TX), 49-10, in a league challenge.
