In Friday's league match, the host Westchester Comets flag football squad scored a close 13-6 triumph over the University Wildcats.
The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA). The Unicorns come into the Western match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Los Angeles CES was nudged by Venice (Los Angeles, CA), 42-0, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 7. University will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 15-2 record after their 12-6 league win over Carson (Carson, CA).
