In Friday's league outing, the visiting Haddam-Killingworth Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Westbrook Knights.

The Cougars (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Warriors go into the Shoreline outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Valley Regional got by Amistad (New Haven, CT), 9-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Knights confront the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) in a Shoreline outing, on Wednesday, October 9. Westbrook will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the outing with a 1-10 record after their 8-1 league loss to Portland (Portland, CT).
