With the triumph, South Salem moves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Saxons host West Salem (Salem, OR) to clash with the Titans in a 6A Central Valley test on Tuesday, October 8. The Titans come into the test with a record of 4-3. West Salem won 1-0 in their recent league test against McNary (Keizer, OR)

The Vikings now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league test on Monday, October 7.
